There are several editions of Xinc. Each is intended for a somewhat different purpose although the functionality is identical in each of the editions. They differ in when the output document gets 'stamped' with a message stating that the document was generated with a particular edition. Each edition has a different type of license file. It is the license file which determines when a stamp is placed on an output document. Each edition also has a distinct license agreement.

Xinc Evaluation

An evaluation edition of Xinc can be downloaded at no charge. The evaluation edition of Xinc allows you to determine whether Xinc will fit your requirements before making a purchase. It is a full version of the product with a stamp on each page of the output. It may be used for sixty days.

Xinc Developer

The Developer edition of Xinc is intended to allow your engineering and quality assurance staff to do their jobs without having to buy multiple, full priced Server editions of Xinc. It is a cost effective tool useful for:

• Creating and maintaining XSLT stylesheets which produce XSL-FO
• Creating and distributing unstamped PDF files using the Viewer
• Doing engineering development and integration
• Deployment in a QA environment

E-mail support and minor releases will be provided for 30 days. A one year support agreement which provides e-mail support and new releases of Xinc (maintenance, minor and major releases) is also available. If you wish to purchase a one year support agreement, you must do so when you purchase the product. The support period begins at the time of purchase.

Xinc Server

The Server edition is intended for production environments. No stamps are placed on any output document. The Server edition is licensed on a per CPU basis. If you are running Xinc Server on a four CPU server, you will need to buy a four CPU license.

A one year support agreement which provides e-mail support and new releases of Xinc (maintenance, minor and major releases) is also available. If you wish to purchase a one year support agreement, you must do so when you purchase the product. The support period begins at the time of purchase.
